How to Make Dhoodi ka Halwa

Ingredients

  • Bottle Gourd (kaddu/loki) peeled and grated – 1kg
  • Sugar – 1/2kg
  • Ghee – 2 cups
  • Milk – 1kg
  • Khoya – 1/2kg
  • Nuts – for presentation
  • How to cook Dhoodi Ka Halwa

  • Peel and shred Bottle Gourd into thin layers
  • In water add shredded Bottle Gourd and cook till water is reduced
  • Add Milk and let it dry
  • Add sugar and Stir
  • Heat Ghee in a wok
  • Once heated pour it onto the Bottle Gourd mixture
  • Use nuts for presentation
